Megan is employed as a Training and Outreach Worker within the Kinnections Project where she develops services and provides support to children and families.
Prior to coming to kinship care , Megan supported children, young people and adults with a learning disability , acquired brain injury and autism as well as 1-1 to support for young people with additional needs.
Megan has a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Health and Social Care and a degree in psychology.
Megan has a keen interest in cognitive behaviour theory and its application with younger children to help understand and manage their emotions.
When not at work, you can find Megan spending time at the stables.
