Vital Signs Workshop

Kinship carers attended a focus group to inform of the needs of the children in their care. Thank you to Sarah from the Community Foundation NI who facilitated the workshop and to all the kinship carers who came along and shared their stories.

Youth Champions Group Have A Ball

Our Youth Champions Group spent a night at the Gartan Education Centre in Letterkenny where they participated in lots of outdoor activities, including pier jumping and canoeing. Teenbeat DJ Showcase

Young people organised a disco and put their DJ skills to the test last week at The Playhouse. The event was a huge success and there was a special appearance by the amazing DJ Johnny O’Neill. Huge thanks to Jonathan from Movin Music Academy for working alongside young people and helping us raise £353.02!

Launch of New Resource Room

Young people celebrated the official opening of their new Resource Room alongside their siblings and carers. A massive THANK YOU to the Clothworkers’ Foundation for funding the Resource Room and for giving young people in kinship care a space to call their own.

Take on a Challenge

Sign up to do something that will stretch you to your limits. Be that a sporting challenge (like a marathon), a walking or biking challenge or something even more adventurous (a skydive?!). Ask your friends and family to sponsor you in aid of Kinship Care NI.

Hold a Fundraising Event

Organise a fundraising event, like a Coffee Morning or a BBQ and invite all your friends and family.
