Our Youth Champions and Personal Development Group spent an evening together working as a team. Everyone had a great time and lots of new friendships were made.

Launch of DVD ‘Keeping Families Together
Team Kinship Care walked 52 miles from Derry/Londonderry to Coleraine via Ballymoney to raise awareness of kinship care and launch our ‘Keeping Families Together’ DVD. Thanks to everyone for supporting us along the way, especially the Mayor of Derry Brenda Stevenson, the Mayor of Antrim Brian Graham and the Mayor of Coleraine George Duddy.
Filming with the Media Trust
The Media Trust spent a day at our Kinship Care Support Service filming children, young people, volunteers and staff as part of ‘Brilliant Northern Ireland’. The day was a huge success and children had the opportunity to talk openly about their experiences growing up in kinship care.

We were delighted to officially open our new Kinship Care Support Service in Derry/L’Derry.
