Kinship Care NI invite you to the official opening of their Caring for Kin and Kinnections Projects in Magherafelt on the 2nd November 2015, 12 noon – 2pm.
Both projects will be officially opened by the Director of the Big Lottery Fund NI, Joanne McDowell and the Children’s Commissioner for Northern Ireland, Koulla Yiasouma.
Our Caring for Kin Project provides a range of services, including a free helpline service and training and
support to grandparents who are raising their grandchildren in Antrim and the Mid Ulster areas of Cookstown, Draperstown and Magherafelt. The Kinnections Project, which is run in partnership with Buttle UK offers advice, training, family support as well as a Small Grants Programme to kinship carers and their children in Belfast, Larne, Newtownabbey, Lisburn, Ballymena and Carrickfergus. Both Projects are funded by the Big Lottery Fund NI.
