The Mayor of Derry, Brenda Stevenson hosted a civic reception and tea party for kinship carers and their children in Derry/Londonderry. Children received a tour of the Mayor’s Parlour at the Guildhall and had the opportunity to ask lots of very interesting questions. A big thanks to the Mayor for a great day out and for making children in kinship care count.

Take on a Challenge
Sign up to do something that will stretch you to your limits. Be that a sporting challenge (like a marathon), a walking or biking challenge or something even more adventurous (a skydive?!). Ask your friends and family to sponsor you in aid of Kinship Care NI.
Hold a Fundraising Event
Organise a fundraising event, like a Coffee Morning or a BBQ and invite all your friends and family.
