Kinship Care NI launch new ‘Kin Together’ Support Group in Ballymena

Kinship Care NI have established a new ‘Kin Together’ Support Group for kinship carers and their children in Ballymena.

Kinship carers in Ballymena have established a new support group for other kinship carers living in their area.

This is a great opportunity for kinship carers to meet and develop friendships with other kinship carers, share experiences and get involved in lots of fun activities, including opportunities for training and volunteering.

The support group meets the last Wednesday of every month, starting the 27th January 2016 from 11am -12 noon at:-

Other Kin Together Support Groups are up and running in Cookstown, Magherafelt, Antrim, Derry/Londonderry, Newtownabbey, Belfast and Carrickfergus.

Take on a Challenge

Sign up to do something that will stretch you to your limits. Be that a sporting challenge (like a marathon), a walking or biking challenge or something even more adventurous (a skydive?!). Ask your friends and family to sponsor you in aid of Kinship Care NI.

Hold a Fundraising Event

Organise a fundraising event, like a Coffee Morning or a BBQ and invite all your friends and family.

Leave a Legacy

By remembering Kinship Care NI in your Will, you will be leaving behind a legacy that will make a real difference to children and young people in kinship care. You can also specify how you would like your gift to be used.
