There are many ways you can get involved and support Kinship Care NI
You can support us by volunteering your time and organising activities for children and young people in kinship care, or by getting involved in fundraising events and challenges.
“I have been a volunteer for nearly a year and it is so rewarding. As a qualified chef, I have taught children how to bake and now they are better bakers than me. I have also organised a Photography Programme which children really enjoyed. It has been very rewarding and so worthwhile”
Liam, Volunteer (Kinship Care Support Service)“Volunteering has been brilliant. I have met lots of new people and just spending
time with the children and the carers has been great”
Sara, Volunteer (Youth Champions Project)“The staff and children are just fantastic and they made me feel at home right from the start. As a volunteer I organised a Coffee Morning and helped put together leaflets on services that are available to grandparents bringing up their grandchildren”
Margaret, Volunteer (Caring for Kin Project)
