With over 14 million grandparents in the UK and a growing number of grandparents now raising their grandchildren, we held a Grandparents Day as a way of recognising the role grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren. Staff and volunteers were out and about across Northern Ireland handing out lots of goodies to grandparents and their grandchildren. ‘Kuddles’ the Kinship Care Bear was also there to lend a paw. We would like to thank all our volunteers for making the day a huge success and a special thank you to staff and customers as Quayside Shopping Centre, Asda in Antrim and Meadowlane Shopping Centre.

Take on a Challenge
Sign up to do something that will stretch you to your limits. Be that a sporting challenge (like a marathon), a walking or biking challenge or something even more adventurous (a skydive?!). Ask your friends and family to sponsor you in aid of Kinship Care NI.
Hold a Fundraising Event
Organise a fundraising event, like a Coffee Morning or a BBQ and invite all your friends and family.
Leave a Legacy
