Chris Pollock

Chris is based in our Magherafelt office where, as a Training and Outreach Worker on the Kinnections Project, he co-ordinates a project engaging children & carers individually and as family units across Antrim, Ballymena, Belfast, and the Antrim Coast area (stretching from Newtownabbey up to Larne) through a mixture of child, carer, and family focused activities and training opportunities.

Chris is an experienced Youth and Family worker with almost 20 years of professional experience planning and delivering programmes for children, young people and families across Northern Ireland. He has a heart for reconciliation at every level from the personal to the societal, obtaining a M.Phil in Reconciliation Studies from TCD in 2014.

Outside of work Chris enjoys drumming. He played with Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band for 12 years, winning 8 World Championships.

He is a husband, and a father to two young girls.

Take on a Challenge

Sign up to do something that will stretch you to your limits. Be that a sporting challenge (like a marathon), a walking or biking challenge or something even more adventurous (a skydive?!). Ask your friends and family to sponsor you in aid of Kinship Care NI.

Hold a Fundraising Event

Organise a fundraising event, like a Coffee Morning or a BBQ and invite all your friends and family.
