my name is Kuddles.
When I was a young bear I went to live with my grandparents because my mummy and daddy bear could no longer look after me. I wanted to share my story with you all and show you how I settled in to my new home.
I now help other boys and girls in kinship care, I go on lots of adventures and I give the best hugs ever!
ProductsKinship Care is an arrangement where a child who cannot be cared for by their parents goes to live with a relative or family friend. This includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and family friends. Kuddles has developed some products which helped him when he went to live with his granny and grandad and he wants to share them with you…….
Kuddles the bear goes to live with my Granny Book
“I have written a book with the help of my friends at Kinship Care NI. This is my story and it tells my journey of how things changed when I went to live with my grandparents in kinship care.” Kuddles the Bear.
This book is a heart-warming story for all ages to enjoy. Publications are also available in audio book where the young people of Kinship Care read the story with you.
Tell Kuddles How You Are Feeling Wallchart
“I also found it hard to tell people if I was feeling sad, worried or even happy, so one day in art I created my very own feelings chart. It was great I could tell my teacher and grandparents how I was feeling, and we talked about why I was feeling the way I was.” Kuddles the Bear.
Product Description – Feeling Charts are great to use when helping a child identify their feelings. Often times, just the process of identifying feelings will help the child open up to a discussion of their day!
